Your name is a bequeathed heritage. Don’t tarnish that name. Live up to it.
Well, well, well, who cares?
Back in the early 80s at Ososo Grammar School during one of those quiz sessions, one of the questions goes like this, “What is the name of the explorer after whose name, the country United States of America was named?” This decrepit ship (as seen at the busy port of Pointe Noire in Congo) bears the name of that man. To me, she doesn’t seem to be living up to the name of that great explorer or that great nation.
Faded or fading glory, does anybody cares?
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
